Giles Hirst is a professor of leadership at the Research School of Management, ANU. His research interests are about the psychology of leadership, refugees as well as creativity and innovation. Giles is the recipient of Australian Research Council funding. He is frequently engaged by industry. Most recently this includes Departments of Health and Defence. He has published in the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Journal and Leadership Quarterly and serves as Contributing Editor for Journal of Applied Psychology.
