Elloise Bridge is a proud Kija Woman living and working on Kaurna Country. She recently completed her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Gender Studies and minoring in Politics. Elloise is currently working on the Support Unit For Gender Equality (SURGE), which provides gender technical advisory services for DFAT to improve the outcomes of Australia’s development program on gender equality and women’s empowerment. Furthermore, she is a current member of the Office for Youths Prevention of Gender Based Violence Youth Advisory Group, working across a number of initiatives with other like-minded young people to decrease GBV in Australia. She has strong interests in First Nations Feminist Standpoint and intersectionality, and is passionate about gender equality, First Nations rights and empowerment, and the fight against GBV.
