Emmaline Monteith (she/her) is a Research Assistant at GIWL ANU. As part of eSafety Commission's Preventing Tech-based Abuse of Women Grants Program at GIWL, she is investigating the primary prevention of gendered experiences of tech-based abuse. Her PhD research focuses on how digital storytelling approaches to sex education, informed by online testimonies about sex and sexual assault, can be used as an effective sexual assault prevention measure. She is also the Head of Community at Raise Our Voice Australia, a social enterprise working to mobilise young women and gender diverse people to transform policy and politics.
