Khatijatusshalihah (Shelly) is a PhD Student at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership. Shelly is a part of the Applied Social and Organisational Psychology Program at the Research School of Psychology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of the well-being of stigmatised working women and career progression.
Before coming to ANU, Shelly worked as a lecturer in the Psychology Department at Syiah Kuala University in Aceh, Indonesia for five years. Shelly completed her master's degree in Human Resources Development at Texas A&M University (TAMU) where she was awarded a Distinguished Honour Graduate by the College of Education of Human Development. She is investigating the intersectional impacts of religious and gender stigma on the career progression of Muslim working women.
