Sam is a Research Assistant at the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership. 

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Research and Public Policy from New York University Abu Dhabi, where she completed her capstone project on gender inequity in public toilet provision in Melbourne. Her work was featured in The Age, where she spoke about recommendations for reforming Australia’s National Construction Code to address gendered toilet inequity. 

Prior to joining GIWL, Sam was at economics and policy consulting firm Mandala Partners, where she worked on projects including economic impact assessments of non-profits and major Australian institutions.
