Sofia is a PhD student at the University of Bologna (Italy) with a background in community psychology. Her research focuses on political participation through the lenses of gender and intersectionality, exploring how digital transformations impact inclusion. She has also been investigating gender discrimination in the music industry, as well as sexism and objectification in sports media.
