Join our Research Affiliates program

 

Through our research affiliates program, we bring together a global network of leading gender equality researchers. As an affiliate, you will have the opportunity to...

  1. Collaborate with GIWL on specific research projects or programs.
  2. Put forward bids for research grants in collaboration with GIWL.
  3. Co-sponsor/host academic events or conferences with GIWL, and participate in GIWL events as an expert panellist.
  4. Join our community of experts and organisations committed to improving women’s leadership across Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

At any given time, we are working on a wide range of different research projects. We're always looking for new research assistants to come on board and provide additional support to our core team and add new and interdisciplinary lenses to our research. If you are studying in an area related to gender equality and leadership and are looking to develop your research skills and hands-on experience, please get in touch at giwl@anu.edu.au.

We are an interdisciplinary institute with world-leading expertise on gender equality and leadership across a wide range of fields.

While we don't currently offer standalone academic programs directly to students, we are proud to support a number of ANU students by joining their PhD supervisory panels.

Join our internship program

 

Our internship program provides students with practical hands-on experience experience in research, advocacy and engagement, and helps foster the new generation of future leaders in the gender equality space. Our internships are open to Australian National University Students of all academic disciplines via the ANIP and CBE programs and we also take part in the Australian Indonesian Youth Exchange Program.
