Dr Hang Anh Nguyen (she/her) is a Research Fellow at the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership. Her work lies at the intersection of labour economics, gender studies, and development policy, drawing on empirical analysis of large-scale administrative and survey datasets. 

Her recent projects explore the future demand for care and the social norms, attitudes, and practices related to gender equality across four Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. 

Hang Anh completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Wollongong and previously worked as a business analyst in consulting.
